Formats and Fees

Your fee will be based on your needs and the format you choose for working with us:

Services are provided on either a transactional basis (short-term), annual retainer basis (long-term) OR AS Adjunct Services to your current management.

Transactional
Short-term transactional-basis clients are those with one or more specific needs of a non-continuing nature, e.g., wills, entity formations, contracts.

Annual
Long-term retainer-based clients are obviously those with needs of a continuing nature, but more importantly, those who want a relationship structured around easy access to consultation. A client who sees the value of being able to efficiently and cost-effectively pick one's brain to assist in accounting or legal oversight would be long-term. A classic example could be new business ventures.

IN ALL CASES, you will be provided with an engagement letter that sets forth the fees up front. Remember, it is YOUR NEEDS (not the service provider's) dictating the format.

Short-term consultation: Per hour.

Short-term transactions: (e.g., wills and entity formations): Variable. We will gladly provide a fee estimate after our "getting together to know each other". This honestly affords an equitable basis of dealing with each other's expectations. Fair? We certainly think so!

Long-term annual retainer-based consultation: Per hour, but less than short-term! Isn't a round-trip ticket generally cheaper than two one-ways? At times, a long-term client will have a short-term need (a special engagement). Long-term clients will always be rewarded with a 10% discount from short-term hourly fees on all special engagements.
